Discover Japanese Tradition: Your First Matcha Tea Ceremony at Kamejikan Sunday, July 6, 2025

The Japanese tea ceremony is a beautiful cultural tradition that emphasizes hospitality, mindfulness, and the appreciation of seasonal changes. It offers a chance to slow down and enjoy a moment of calm.

At the same time, some people may feel hesitant, thinking the tea ceremony involves strict etiquette or long periods of sitting on the floor. This event is designed especially for beginners, offering a relaxed and welcoming introduction to the world of tea.

While enjoying matcha and seasonal sweets, you’ll learn the basics of the tea ceremony and discover its deeper meaning and charm. If you’d like, you’ll also have the opportunity to try making tea yourself.

Chairs will be available for those who find sitting on the floor difficult.
All etiquette will be explained clearly, so even first-time participants can feel at ease.
