4月1日（日）フクシマの猫、枝元なほみさんのご飯

４月１日に福島で犬や猫をレスキューしているJapan Cat Network（JCN)さんの
チャリティービュッフェのイベントを亀時間で開きます！

311から１年。地震、原発、自分に何かできる事があるのだろうかと思っていた時に、
学生時代にボランティアをしていたホームレスの自立を応援するビッグイシュー
で出会った友人から声をかけてもらい、亀時間で開催することになりました。

料理研究家の枝元なほみさんの美味しいお料理を食べて、
福島の犬や猫たちのためになる。

振り返れば、亀時間がオープンして間もなく、隣の建物から
猫の鳴き声が聞こえて、子猫をレスキューしたことがありました。
無事に里親が見つかってほっとしたことがあったなと。
このイベントで一匹でも多くの猫や犬たちの里親が見つかりますように。

福島原発事故により避難地域になった場合にはたくさんの猫や犬たちが取り残され、いまも飼い主の帰りをまっています。もともと滋賀県で猫のシェルターを運営するJCN http://japancatnet.com/ 日本語サイト：（http://japancatnet.sblog.jp/）は、昨年の3月から福島で犬や猫をレスキューし、飼い主のために預かったり、新しい飼い主を探したり、一時的に預かってくれる里親を探す活動を続けています。そんなJCNの活動をもっと知ってもらい、飼い主を失った犬や猫たちの里親や引き取り手になったり、JCNの福島のシェルターを応援する人を輪をつなげるイベントを開催します。ぜひ、犬好き、猫好きな友人、知人をお誘い合わせの上、ご参加ください。

Since the disaster last March, Japan Cat Network http://japancatnet.com/ has been rescuing, caring for, and re-homing displaced and left behind animals in the Fukushima restricted/evacuated zone. We would like everyone to become familiar with JCN’s work by hosting events that will bring together animal lovers, supporters, and staff. Please invite your friends along to this event.

Due to limited space, reservations are encouraged and the buffet will be in shifts. Please let us know your plans to attend!

参加費：一人3000円（小学生以下は無料）
Buffet Fee: 3,000 yen per person (Under elementary is free)

参加費は諸経費を除いた残りをすべてJCNの福島での犬猫レスキュー活動に寄付します。
ビュッフェスタイルのおいしいお食事とお茶、コーヒーがつきます。

The buffet fee will be donated to JCN after the cost of materials is subtracted. The buffet will include some drinks (Coffee, tea, etc.)

くじ引きなどお楽しみがいっぱいあります。
We will have raffle prizes also!

お食事は、愛猫家で、ご自身も東日本大震災発生後からずっと、被災地支援を続けてこられた料理研究家の枝元なほみさんがお料理を担当。素材にこだわり、日本の小規模有機農家の応援も続けている枝元さんが自ら、ベジタリアン料理をつくってくださいます。
The menu for the buffet will be coordinated by Edamoto Nahomi, a reknowned Chef with many television appearances as well as recipe books, who is a cat lover and herself has been very active in supporting the people affected by the Tohoku Disaster. She will create an original vegetarian menu specifically for this event, which is a great honor for JCN!

会場となるゲストハウス亀時間は築80年以上の古民家を改装し、ゆったりとした空気が漂う素敵な空間。歩いて数分で、透明度が高く遠浅の砂浜で有名な材木座海岸にも出られます。 春の鎌倉でお会いできることを楽しみにしています！
The event space is graciously being provided by Kamejikan, a Guest House/Cafe that has been renovated using an 80 year old Japanese traditional home. The ambiance and calm environment is a must see, and is within a few minutes walking distance from the famous Zaimokuza Beach. We hope to see you in the beautiful spring Kamakura!
